What is the AIRmove® inflatable air cushion machine?
The Airmove® machine table top design is compact (18”x 8” x 6”), lightweight (6 lbs) on demand, easy to use air fill cushion machine that produces clean and professional looking packages.
How do I best protect my products with AIRmove® air cushion film?
Depending on the product, you might choose to wrap the product and put it in the box. First, place a AIRmove® pad on the bottom of the box, then wrap your product with AIRmove® cushion film and place in the box. Depending on the box size you are using, you may have to add additional cushion(s) in order to fill the remaining space. This is best done by overfilling the remainder of the space a little bit so that you insure the product is locked in and cannot move within the box. When closing the lids of the carton, you somewhat have to “squeeze” the cushions down in order to close the flaps of the box. If your packaging requirements only require filling the void, then use as many as necessary cushions to lock your product in the box and again overfill a bit before closing and taping the lids.
How many boxes can I fill with 1 roll of film?
This is very much dependent on the void and size per box. If we assume an average box measures ca 30 liter or 1 cubic foot and has 30% void, then we can fill some 180 boxes with 1 roll of film. The example box would need 5-6 cushions.

Air Bag Packaging Fact
Using an air cushion machine is a very affordable and convenient way to create protective packaging materials for large and small shippers. Inflatable protective packaging can be created on-demand using only a small machine and rolls of plastic air packaging material. This saves facility costs for the packaging company because they do not have to store large volumes of packing materials such as rolls of bubble. In addition, the air machines are very compact and portable.

We just got one of these machines and constantly run into the issue of the air pillows (from the void fill roll) not holding air for more than about 12 hours. The teflon strip and and blade are obviously brand new. The temperature and "fill amount" are both at the "middle setting"…any insight or help is appreciated!

Thanks for the quick reply. We are a small business and operate out of our house. We ship between 10 and 50 packages a day. After doing a bit more research, I believe the airmove machine will work for us.
