FillPak TT Cut Mechanism by Ranpak

In support of more efficient and economical packing operations, Ranpak^® – a leader in innovative packaging solutions – has launched a new cut device, FillPak TT^® Cut Mechanism. The device can be customized to fit new and existing Ranpak FillPak TT^® void fill paper converters to further enhance packing times and minimize material waste by allowing operators to automatically set and cut dispensed paper, rather than manually tearing it.

“As executives look for more ways to cut costs and add efficiency in fulfillment and packing operations, the FillPak TT Cut Mechanism is an easy decision to make,” said Donna Tohme, product manager, void fill, Ranpak. “It takes less than 30 minutes to upgrade a converter with this device, and it offers immediate payback in time and material saved. The ergonomically-correct cut of the paper allows packers to quickly dispense the right amount of material the first time, every time.”

Equipped with an Electronic Delivery System (EDS) mode, FillPak TT Cut Mechanism allows operators to set a pad length from 12 inches to 10 feet, then dispense and cut the pads to length automatically or via a foot pedal command.

The cutter customization offers all the same benefits of FillPak TT, including quick converting of single-ply, 15″ fanfold kraft paper at a speed of 60 inches per second; adjustable head dispenser for ease and comfort while packing; and compact design that easily fits into packing areas with limited space via a table or floor stand.

In line with all of Ranpak’s products, the fanfold paper used with the FillPak TT Cut Mechanism is 100 percent recyclable and biodegradable. Ranpak’s turnkey solution of converter and products keeps the entire packaging life cycle in mind so time and waste are minimized and performance and recycling are emphasized.
